We are excited to announce that because of your generosity we collected 40 barrels of books and school supplies!! Our initial goal was 10 barrels so this is far and beyond that goal and I cannot express how needed these items are in our area. We will have the joy and privilege of distributing the items to teachers and school children in many areas. The next challenge will be shipping the barrels to Ghana! The barrel itself costs around $30, shipping from Kentucky to Accra, Ghana is $150 per barrel and from Accra to Tamale is $20 per barrel. We need to raise $8,000 to get these books all the way to Ghana. We are looking for 400 people to give $20 and the task will be complete!
